Snoqualmie Falls is a 268 ft waterfall and one of the most popular attractions in Washington. The Snoqualmie Indians believe this is where the first man and woman were created. There are two power plants, hidden behind the falls. We were unable to walk to the base of the waterfall for better pictures because they picked that day to trim some trees. It was really misty--you can kind of see it in the picture.
We headed to North Bend for a hike on the Little Si Trail. It was raining and muddy, but it just added to the walk. We wanted to do a geocache here and spent forever looking for the cache. Dj finally found it hiding under some moss and blending right in. It was a really pretty trail, and we were surprisingly not the only ones to be hiking in the rain.
The town of Snoqualmie is connected to North Bend by a railroad. We happened to show up on field trip day, so the place was full of elementary kids. We almost hopped on the train along with them. Maybe next time.
